The noise here was made in Bespoke Synth, with all of the sounds coming from various processing of a single source. Since this patch uses only built-in modules (and is thus sharable), I’m making the patch available on patchstorage.com.
Some recordings taken with pickup coils of electromagnetic fields from various devices. Due to the nature of these recordings, they are mono, and somewhat noisy. As an example, here’s a demo of the recording taken from an optical mouse:
I have also added an expanded version to the FSA Patreon page, which includes longer versions of several sounds, plus an extra “bonus” sound. Supporters at any level will be able to download this and other exclusive content.
This one uses Plugin Boutique’s Radio plugin as the main sound source for some “plunderphonics” noise action in Bespoke Synth. https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/3-Studio-Tools/72-Utility/3941-Radio https://www.bespokesynth.com/ The video was made in TouchDesigner. https://derivative.ca/product/touchdesigner-non-commercial/77 Thanks for listening/watching! https://www.fstateaudio.com/
XORbot is another fairly simple noisebox synth based on logical operations. Though it has some similarities to the previously-released NANDroid, it uses a different method of sound generation and thus creates a different kind of cacophony.
Found myself playing with this track again, and had some fun doing some remixes and an ambient-style re-imagining. I decided to put the results on an EP with an outtake from the original Spaced Out EP and a newer techno-ish track that was recently finished.
